## - Blurb for Fish-fry
After a festival that saw every weekend reach one-in one-out, Bill Kyle’s
freshly opened Jazz Bar has established itself as the coolest new place on
the capital’s live music scene. The audience reactions were so great we
decided to follow exactly the same formula and raise the game a little by
inviting a few touring bands to keep everyone on their toes.
Its still free to get in before 11.30pm, DJs still play before and after
the bands, we still have a dancefloor and there are still some seats and
tables at the back. The aim of the night is simple – funky fun with a live
band every night.
Musically we go back to the old school; funk, soul, Latin & hip hop whilst
on the modern tip it is all roots conscious party music. This
collaboration between Erik D’Viking of Trouble and Astroboy from the Four
Corners / Departure Lounge camp. Every Saturday we'll be having a dance
watching some bands and playing records along with visits from friends
such as DJ Red6 (Livesciences).
