who are
Jane : daughter of 70s folk singing sensation.
Marko : born to polish bass playing mother.
Met at high school in Scotland, she was 12, he was 14
Jane liked kraut-rock n roll and drinking in the multi.
Marko liked noise, he is banned from music class.
Both leave school at the earliest opportunity.
Jane Motoro wants to be an actress and relocates to France.
Marko Poloroid studies music in Glasgow, declares all bands
are shit and goes off to New York, vanishes for six months,
press find him dj'ing in Casablanca.
Jane has a car accident in Paris, both return to Scotland
for jobs with the same tv show, leave the show, take the
money and buy a cheap sampler, release pink vinyl 7" as
MOTORMARK.
They play their first live show - 23rd january 2002.
Play Louder say 'Soft Cell fronted by a thousand-yard-
starier Poly Styrene'.
Motormark tour europe and play shows with peaches,
ladytron, white stripes and sonic youth. Reurn to
Scotland and record debut album 'POP:UP'. Recorded
in a day the album gets great reviews...
"twisted genuis art punks..." (NME)
The album quickly becomes an underground hit and in
2004 sign to Berlins infamous Digital Hardcore Recordings
- DHR and start writing their next album, the 2nd in
12 months.
Motormark choose to record their sick and infectious
punk rock electronic fuckeries above a transvestite
cafe in an abandoned sweetie factory in Limehouse and
they want to record it fast...

They release the album 'Chrome Tape' October 2004 to
critical acclaim.
