present two unique live music bills for each night which
include sets by the most promising bands from near (Scotland)
and afar (Osaka), plus fuse-busting DJ mayhem from White
Heat and Edinburgh's Goulag Beat DJs, and Glasgow's Utter

Although Glasgow's MOTHER AND THE ADDICTS need little introduction
around these parts, here's some previous press:
"A MASHED-UP cocktail of swampy surf-rock gone bad, topped with a
liberal sprinkling of psychedelic icing. Out of this world!" the Sun

COMANECHI are drummer/vocalist Akiko Matsuura (Osaka) and
guitarist Simon Petrovich (London). They make sexy, dense,
straighahead and gorgeous punk rock. Like a sexed-up Afri
Rampo with bigger riffs.

SNOW WHITE tear-up venues with a kind of primal mess that few
bands can equal. "Frankly, if London terror squad Snow White

not love a band who sing, 'I'm bored and somewhat detached
/ I've got good hair and I smoke lots of crack' and call a song on their
debut single 'It's Not Art It's Paedophile Porn'? Exactly. The fact
that they also sound like the 'Lord Of The Flies' kids if they were

XVECTORS' super-tight military post-punk with all the best tunes
has been causing a stir in Scotland for a long time now. They are
finally breaking through to a bigger audience. Picked up by Paul
Smith of Blast First, they will arrive back from string of dates
around the country including support slots for Bloc Party.

Glasgow's SHIT DISCO (pronounced Shi-Disco) have been exciting
the NME and anyone else within dancing distance. Clor have
provided a booty-shaking head-scratching remix to their
debut single 'Disco Blood / I Know Kung Fu'. Quite correctly,
the NME has them pegged as "the city's finest drum'n'two bass
epileptic dance punk outfit".

All-girl Edinburgh 5-piece THE GUSSETS have been wowing audiences
with their sexy, intelligent, performance art punk. The only some
out for special occasions so catch them while you can.
