On Stage: Digital Jones + Departure Lounge and Trouble DJs
Fast becoming the next must-see band with the audiences who attend our
close-knit clubs, gigs and house parties. This band have been booked
to play at Departure Lounge, Fish Fry and Boogaloo Bothy after making
their debut at the Bongo Club's SwingBeats, Influences include Prince,
Jamie Lidell, Mark de Clive Lowe, The Roots, The Faint, The Knife,
Alice Russell, P-Funk, MAW, Spektrum and J Dilla. They've got soul,
electro-funk drums, fat bass lines, synths and screaming divas. How

On Stage: Keiretsu + Departure Lounge and Trouble DJs
Now almost Edinburgh festival veterans, Keiretsu have a unique sound,
combining epic strongs and atmospheric breakdowns with driving electro
beats, basslines and catchy, accessible hooks. Previous Edinburgh
Festival performances have sold out and they have supported acts such
as Pendulum, London Elektricity, General Midi and Lo Fi All Stars.

On Stage: Joe Acheson Quartet + Departure Lounge and Trouble DJs
Quite officially the best of Edinburgh's new school jazz groups. Over
the past 2 years they've gigged their fingers raw and now have a stage
show that is now as tight as anything that is often referred to as
tight (good comparisons include Italian Speedos and duck's ar5es).
Having produced remixes for both Tru Thoughts and Ninja Tune, no
secret has been made of the excitement that surrounds this band in
Scotland and the south of England. Although Joe doesn't like us
drawing these likenesses, the scattered snares of the Cinematic
Orchestra rub shoulders with blues loops of Moby and the lush chords
of Aim in their energetic soundscapes. Its a family thing, they're our
friends, we're your friends. Things come best in small tight packages.
