You will be aware that The Classic Grand will be opening on Friday
13th October 2006 and we look forward to seeing you there so please
put the date in the diary and a more formal invite will follow any

For the opening week we have come up with a Gold Ticket concept that
will allow guests from industry, press and media to visit the venue as
often as they like for any of the first week's in house events (listed
below & subject to capacity). If you would like a Gold Ticket for
yourself or colleagues please forward names and addresses to
invites@... and plusher invites in a creative and tasty
packaging will be issued soon. Please do take time to have a read the
info below, as the opening line up is fabulous and we expect it is
diverse enough to temp a plethora of your contemporaries out the house
for the nights.

Order DJ Set and Aftershow
Based in Madame JoJo's in Soho, White Heat first came to Scotland back
in December and has now found a new home at The Classic Grand and
based on the cutting edge shows shows to date featuring, amongst
others, The Horrors, Ladyfuzz, FO Machete, Damn Shames, Jamie T,
Bricolage, Mother and the Addicts, XVectors, Shitdisco, Comanechi, The
Low Miffs, Errors and Dananananaykroyd, The Classic Grand looks

When Tony Wilson chose the name for Factory Records he claimed it was
because "music is a product and a Factory is where product is made"
but there is no doubt that Wilson could not have been influenced by
Warhol and likewise there is no doubt that modern music has not been
influenced by the product of both Wilson's and Warhol's Factories.
From Joy Division through to Interpol, Happy Mondays to Kasabian and
Lou Reed to Razorlight the connections lead us back to a Factory full
of class and distinction so clock into our new Friday evening club and

As a footnote we also have Ed Harcourt playing on 22 Oct but that is a
