and drumming underground. Earthy drummers, snacks and healing / divination.

About Imbolc :: Winter is now upon us in full force - the winds and rain have
beenlashing down upon us, and the storms have rolled across the countryside as
the
Cailleach has unleashed her anger and grief upon the land.

But fear not! In the distance is a faint glimmer of hope, the start of Spring,
the
return of the sun and the warmth, and the return of nature from its winter
hibernation.

To mark the start of spring and the gradual drawing to a close of these wintry
times, Beltane Fire Society will be holding an Imbolc ritual to welcome in the
spring, as well as an Imbolc Club to raise a toast to the returning sun and
dance
the night away!

Our Imbolc this year will take place on the 2nd of February - traditionally
Bridget's feast day in Scotland, which marked the first day of spring. And we
want
you to be involved! There will be a small performance following the traditions
of
the original festival and of our Imbolc rituals past, followed by an
Imbolc-themed
club.
