The heavyweights of South Pacific reggae-soul release their new album Solid Ground (Sonar Kollektiv) throughout Europe on August 11th 2008.

After 3 road-blocking performances at the Edinburgh's famous Spiegeltent last year, The Black Seeds return for a one-off date at Edinburgh's Liquid Room.

The Black Seeds return to Europe supporting the release of their fourth studio album, Solid Ground, released through Berlin's consistently pioneering Sonar Kollektiv label.  Fusing dub, funk and afrobeat with vintage reggae grooves, the Black Seeds produce fresh heavyweight soul sounds from the South Pacific.  Their unique mix of supremely infectious grooves and melodies over raw undiluted roots music has set them apart and now sees their reputation spreading throughout the globe.

Renowned for their legendary eight-piece live show, the Black Seeds' live show is not to be missed.
