The Vaudeville Cabaret Club is a vibrant cabaret-style showcase,
mixing circus, theatre, burlesque, comedy, poetry, performance
art, dance, mixed media, music and experiences of mind-bending
weirdness. Located in Edinburgh, we are Scotland's premier
outlet for local performing arts talent, putting on monthly
showcases throughout the year and a daily showcase during the
Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The 2006 season features fabulous compere Mikelangelo, infamous
baritone accordion-wielding adventurer of the Black Sea Gentlemen
fame, alongside cunning circus stunts, tall theatrical tales,
bizarre burlesque, laughter, music, magic and performers from
across the globe in a Russian roulette of outrageous cabaret.

Michael van Beinum, a psychiatrist for children and adolescents, who
advised on the study, agrees: "For some young people with mental
health problems, a goth subculture may be attractive as it may allow
them to find a community within which it may be easier for their
distress to be understood."

and the mentally impaired are all over what used to be the Goth
scene. We wish them well in their journey to recovery and normality.
However, a single personality disorder such as this, is usually
accompanied by a broad range of others that may include
'maliciousness, violence, agressiveness, and destructiveness.'
