Thank you to everyone who showed up last night! I had an awesome time
and did a 5-song set accompanied by my friend, Tyler Walker Williams,
on guitar who did a phenomenal job! The last song, "Release Me" could
not be recorded as the camera ran out of memory but 4 of the 5 songs
have been put up on YouTube - I definitely recommend listening to
"ENTWINED" as it was my strongest performance of the night, followed
by "Under My Skin." My friend Hiromi loved my fast song 'Wave' and the
song that made me cry so much, Forevermore - which sounded phenomenal
live and the video recording isn't able to capture as well but heck
enjoy anyway! :) It's one of my favorite songs I have ever written -
possibly the most meaningul to me.

Last night was phenomenal. I thank everyone who showed up and gave me
support! For those of you who missed the show, ITV recorded the whole
event and hopefully I'll get a copy of my performance segment and have
a professional quality video to share. Until then, my sister Mili
recorded my 3-song acoustic set with our camera - unfortunately she
didn't know that she had to hold the camera straight and thought she
could film lengthwise so you're going to have to tilt your head a lil
;) hahaha :) The 3 songs are originals I wrote a long time ago - each
of my songs got better in progression - the first song I performed was
my original titled 'WAVE' and I included only a 2 minute clip of it,
the second song I performed was 'ENTWINED' and I included the 2nd half
of the song on to the end, and the last song I performed is the
acoustic version of what will be a fast dance song I wrote called
'RELEASE ME' - you get to hear the slow version :) I included the
whole thing from start to finish.
I hope you enjoy the vids - I recommend watching them in the order
below which is how I performed them last night :) If you want to hear
the whole songs, you should come out to see me perform :)

It's been so nice to come to know about Nishi and her musical talent.
I just found her on myspace and I'm so happy I did. Nishi is beautiful
and intelligent and a great singer. I can't wait to hear more of her
music and maybe collaborate regarding band/artist management. I am a
band manager for a rock group out of San Francisco called Morticious.
Perhaps Nishi could be a guest singer on one of their albums as I've
heard that Nishi loves some of the hard rock music.
Have a great new year everyone.

Aquen1@...
Hello everyone!
Today, India West Magazine/Newspaper published a wonderful article
about me.
http://www.nishimusic.com/Nishi_INDIA_WEST.pdf
If you can't open the pdf, a small graphic thumbnail is available here:
http://www.nishimusic.com/press_india_west.jpg
I'd like to make 2 corrections to the article: (a) I work as an
attorney in personal injury litigation although 2 of my hobbies and
passions are indeed civil and human rights, I don't have a job in them
just yet ;) and (b) the song Nightingale's Song was written for my
mom's father (my grandfather) who died of cancer in 2003.
I'll be featured in a few more publications before month's end. I will
be in South Asian Woman Magazine and India Express. Can't wait! :)
Hope all of you had a wonderful Halloween and are having a happy start
to November! God bless!
- Nishi
