I answered the poll question, but I wasn't happy with the way it was
presented. Just to clarify my response. Yes, I think Buddy would
have "Kept up" with the music trends that followed his death. In
fact, I think he would have lead the way. I hate to say this, but we
wouldn't have had to listen to a lot of the music that did follow. I
won't mention any names, because some of those guys are pretty nice
people, and have payed tribute to Buddy. But I don't think we would
have had the sappy music that seemed to be so popular in late '59,
and on into the early 60's. I'm new to this forum, but am a life long
fan. Can we post photos on this site? I have a nice one of the
Crickets from '58 on stage. I did'nt shoot it, so I don't know about
the propriety of posting it, but would like to share it. It isn't
anything new, just good. I have raved on longer than I intended, so
I'll close for now.
