Hi, everyone!

Having just joined the list today, I've been reading through the
archives and haven't seen any women yet -- maybe I'm the first!
Anyway, I'm Cheryl, I'm 38 and I live in a suburb of Kansas City,
Missouri.

I've been listening to Buddy Holly since I was probably 8 years old
and my mom let me play her 45s on my record player. I still have
them, though some aren't in the greatest shape. I also am getting two
of her Buddy Holly albums this week (I'm so excited!). I also have
the 45 of Ritchie Valens (Donna b/w La Bamba).

I'm so glad to have found this list, and thanks to whoever gave the
web address for KDAV radio; I'm listening to it now as I type. Real
oldies, none of that Motown stuff that the local "oldies" station
plays.

Does anyone have some favorite Buddy Holly websites they'd like to
post? I've come across a few, but really just started "researching"
recently.

Thanks, looking forward to sharing my passion for Buddy's music and
learning more about this greatest of great Rock & Roller!
