Monday, Jan 17 is the deadline for registration at the Calliope School for
Fiddle Tunes of SW Pennsylvania, with Mark Tamsula.

The course is listed as Fiddle II Repertoire, so if you've completed Fiddle II
or its equivalent, this would be the perfect time to get back into another
class.

The tunes are still in the old time style, they just happen to be collected from
our region during the last 75 years.
The source of music is a collection published in a book titled Dance to the
Fiddle, March to the Fife by Samuel Bayard.
All tunes are taught slowly, broken into small portions. Prerecorded cds with
slow versions of tunes are provided.

The class is scheduled to begin:
Tuesday Jan 25
8:15 - 9:45 pm
runs for eight weeks
