Hey Everybody!

The Old Time Superslow Jam is growing apace (and *maybe* even
increasing in pace!)--come join the fun!

The next jam is scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd from 3 pm till
5ish, or after. Likely songs we'll play include Horse Called Rover,
Old Virginia Reel, Walking in the Parlor, Rock the Cradle, Lucy,
Rock the Cradle, Joe, Rock the Cradle, Little Maggie, Rock the
Cradle, Angelina Baker, Rock the Cradle, Old Joe Clarke, Rock the
Cradle, John Henry, (it's amazing how funny these are after a few
beers, honest!), Old Molly Hare, Sugar Hill, Liberty, Groundhog,
Mississippi Sawyer, Midnight on the Water, Ashokan Farewell, 8th of
January, Ducks on the Millpond, Swallowtail Jig, Petronella, St
Anne's Reel, Dick Gossip's Reel, the kitchen sink...

We're also starting to rehearse contra dances and Xmas medleys for
the Holiday Ball Jam.

For further details, sheet music, beer list (we ALWAYS have at
least 2 dark beers in addition to that pale stuff--stout lovers
take note!), driving directions and more hilarious Rock the Cradle
variations, send along an email to a2b@... or
sgoodis@... and we'll be happy to oblige =)

Our motto is We'll Play Anything Slowly, so if you'd like to play
something you don't see on this list, let us know so we can
practise it ahead of time.
