Heyas Folks!
The Pittsburgh Supersloooooooooowwww Jam continues to flourish and
will next meet from 3pm till 5ish on Sunday, Nov 19th
We're getting feisty and branching out into A tuning songs in
addition to D for the banjos. Songs we're likely to play include:
Angelina Baker, Rock the Cradle Somebody, Walking in the Parlor,
Johnson Boyz, Shady Grove, Sugar Hill, Liberty, Ducks on the
Millpond, Cluck Old Hen, Bell Cow, Sally Goodun, Juneapple,
Soldier's Joy, Cold Frosty Morning, 8th of January, Ashokan
Farewell, Midnight on the Water, St Anne's Reel, Dick Gossip's
Reel, Quince Dillon's High D Tune, Horse Called Rover, Flop-Eared
Mule, Spotted Pony, Old Virginia Reel, Petronella, Kesh Jig,
Swallowtail Jig, Cluck Old Hen, Whiskey Before Breakfast (whee!) and who
knows
what all.
You know our motto--'We'll Try Anything At Half Speed': if you
