Grab your acoustic instruments and join us @ the Zombo Gallery on Friday April
3rd from 8 to 11pm for an old time/irish session with Austin Texas
artist/musician Tim Kerr. The Zombo Gallery is located at 4900 Hatfield St to
Lawrenceville. The members of Devilish Merry will host the session.

Here's a youtube link about Tim, his art and him playing his banjo.

Tim Kerr's artistic work focuses on the musical, social and political figures
that have inspired him to forge his own path in his life and art, including John
Coltrane, Rosa Parks, Jack Johnson, Tommie Smith, Leonard Peltier, Sun Ra, Jim
Thorpe, Muhammad Ali, John Fahey, Rassan Roland Kirk, Bo Diddley, and Eldridge
Cleaver.

Tim, a native of Austin, Texas, is a hugely influential guitarist, songwriter
and founding member of punk rock / garage rock bands since the late 70's. He is
well known for his work with the legendary The Big Boys, Poison 13, The
Monkeywrench, Jack O' Fire and most recently, The Total Sound Group Direct
Action Committee. He also produced "Living is the Best Revenge" for Pittsburgh
garage rock revivalists The Cynics,

Additional music at the opening will be provided by Vernacular, a free jazz
group from Cleveland featuring members of This Moment In Black History.
