Our new photo is of ocarinas made by our members for the 2009 Ocarina Exchange. The materials used for construction are varied - from the more commonly used ceramic to bamboo and wood.

I've played several instruments, but I've never made one unless you consider experimenting with glasses filled with various amounts of water an instrument

Now I know I should have taken that woodwind class. I was scared of the class. It's so silly that when you're in school you have to pay attention to grades

My answer is for a simple test to vary your sound. Find a plastic small necked bottle and take off the lid. Now make a whistle with your mouth while blowing

THE SO,CALLED DUAL SOUNDS GOOD UNTIL THE PLAYER TRIES TO PLAY 2 OCARINAS AT THE SAME TIME. I SUGGEST YOU CONSIDER USING THE KEY PITCH OCARINA. FOR EXAMPLE.
