For the past 15 years Ukrainian pop-rock band Okean Elzy, (Elza's Ocean) has been one of the most sucessful bands in Eastern Europe. The status of fame they have achieved in Ukraine and Russia is similar to what U2 has achieved in Ireland and Britain as a nationally loved band. Unlike U2, Okean Elzy has not broken through to the North American/Western music market. I created this group in hopes of finding other American and Canadian fans.
