Hi.
I'm new and wondering how this list works. I posted this on the
website, but havent' seen it come up yet, and just found the addresses
to post to the list, which is really what I want to do. (The other
lists I'm pon are much easier to sign up for and use than what I've
seen of yahoo so far.)
I'm trying to find out if the tune "Uncle Joe" is ever played in the
key of A. I'm working on a medley of it and "Mrs. McLeod of Raasay"
with a fiddler, and she wanted to know if anyone ever played it in A.
I'd only seen it in my searches online in A, and today I found a
version that says it was from Lomax and was in C. So, does anyone know
of it being played in A?
Thanks for your help.

The paintings, poetry and music
Are all merely water drawn from the well of mankind
And must be returned to him in a cup of beauty
So that he may drink
And in drinking, come to know himself.
