The Podunk Bluegrass Festival, along with the
D'Addario Foundation is sponsoring a band

competition at its festival the first full weekend

in August in beautiful Martin Park with on-site

camping in E. Hartford, CT



The competition offers numerous cash prizes and

a spot on next year's festival lineup. The entry

deadline is coming up in April since there's a

screening process required to qualify for

acceptance into the contest. No pickup bands,

please. The contest will be held the afternoon

Podunk is a twelve year old, family-oriented

festival. It presents the best in bluegrass

entertainment while offering numerous activities

for youngsters, including a kids music camp.

There's also plenty of field picking, a variety of

vendors, an in-ground swimming pool, excellent

food choices, and of course weekend camping,

all in lovely Martin Park, East Hartford, CT.
