Folk College is a fun and friendly weekend of playing and listening to folk
music - a fantastic three days of workshops, concerts, jams, dancing and
friendship. Activities are held at Juniata College, a beautiful setting in
Huntingdon PA, nestled in the picturesque Allegheny Mountains. Within one
weekend, you'll have a choice of workshops ranging from old-time to blues to

a taste of playing instruments like dulcimer, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo,
and bass.

Very confusing. What workshops are for what instruments? Are they all for
all instruments? Say clawhammer banjo, fiddle, mando, guiitar? I can' tmake
sense of what they're doing.

Thanks for the inquiry. Some workshops are for all instruments, some are for
specific instruments. There will be workshops for all the instruments you
listed, plus workshops for flutes, singing, various folk styles. There will also
be jamming, dancing, and other more esoteric instruemnts.

Hope this helps, Jerry

What would help is to make which workshops are available for which
instrument clear on the web site. You are asking people to register without
the most
basic information to evaluate if the event is a good fit. Very poorly
designed. It may be a tremendous event, but one cannot tell from the web site
if
it will benefit them or not.

/greg
