Canada;
Admission to these nine 30-minute concerts is free, although donations are
welcome at the conclusion of the recital, and a collection will be received
during the service of Choral Evensong which follows.

ANDREW KOTYLO is a graduate student at Indiana University, where he is
currently completing his Masters in Organ Performance as a student of Larry
Smith and Marilyn Keiser. He will begin doctoral studies at Indiana this
Fall as a student of Christopher Young, with whom he also studied while
earning his undergraduate degree. A native of Binghamton, New York, his
first organ teachers
were Carolyn Albaugh and M. Searle Wright. Andrew was formerly assistant
organist-choirmaster of St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Buffalo, New York,
and previously he had served as organist at Highland Park Presbyterian
Church, Dallas, Texas.
Andrew has won several competitions, including the 1996 Ottumwa (Iowa)
Undergraduate Competition, the 1997 American Guild of Organists Regional
Young Organists' Competition (Region II), and the 1999 Arthur Poister
Competition. He was a finalist in the 1999 Fort Wayne Competition and a
semifinalist in the 2000 A.G.O. National Young Artists' Competition. Andrew
is an active recitalist, and he has made several appearances at Regional and
National Conventions of the A.G.O. that have earned critical acclaim. As a
"Rising Star" at the 1998 A.G.O. National Convention in Denver, part of his
performance was featured on National Public Radio's Pipedreams. He has a
particular interest in the organ duo literature and often performs in
collaboration with Tom Trenney.
