Oberlin (UCC) inaugural concert on the Gober organ
The inaugural concert on the Cauffiel Organ at First Church in Oberlin (United Church of Christ), just completed by Gober Organs of Elora, Ontario, will take place on Sunday, September 26, at 4pm. Recitalists will be David Boe and James David Christie, Professors of Organ, Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. The program will include works by Rogg, Karg-Elert, JS Bach, JB Bach, Pinkham, and Ropartz, as well as the premiere of "How Good to Thank Our God", composed by John Ferguson for First Church's Finney Choir and organ.
