Hi to everyone
Four new piano pieces up on rfkharris.com for free download! - starting
with The Dambusters March by Eric Coates. I couldn't resist doing an
arrangement of this classic tune as the World Cup approaches... UK
members will know what I'm on about! Following this, there's one of the
most enduring pieces of music of all time, Henry Mancini's Pink Panther
theme. This is an advanced arrangement that includes the theme's big-
band middle jazz section. Finally there's Mozart's Ave Verum, a
beautiful choir piece arranged for piano, and Bartok's first Romanian
Dance, for something classy and different.
Remember, if your piece too hard, or too easy, or you'd like it for a
different instrument, or you'd like to hear an MP3 of it, you can
personalise it (or any of the 60 now posted) for only £5 - and it's a
same day sheet music e-mail service.
Best wishes to all!

Sorry, Fabulous Bonnie, my message was not heeded, so your membership
has been revoked... it's unfair to everyone to hijack another person's
group to spam us and promote your own off-topic site - there's no
reason why you can't set up your own group, after all!
On a more positive note, coming soon to www.rfkharris.com, it's

Don't spam us please Fabulous Bonnie! Your membership is not revoked
(yet) because the subjects of your messages have some marginal
relevance to the music scene - if not sheet music - but please don't
use this group as a forum to repeatedly advertise an off-topic site!

'Play What You Want'
Hello to all
The switch is almost ready to be made: rfkharris.com will be launching
its HTML version imminently, with modifications and improvements to the
music arrangements and sheet music in availability and function.
A glimpse into the future too: over the next couple of months, you will
see a ringtone page added to rfkharris.com, from where it will be
possible to download a large selection of top classical and ragtime
music ringtones, straight to your phone. More about this in the autumn!
On another note, in common with most groups, we are receiving our fair
share of spam. The policy of rfkharris.com is to share anything to do
with the accessibility of music, so there is no problem with members
promoting their own sites or other music sites they think might be of
interest. It was fascinating to look at Aballmuse's site, for instance,
following his message post. But messages selling phones, mail order
brides, used cars, Viagra, Mongolian lottery tickets etc. will be
deleted and the members permanently banned.
Love to all
Richard

Again, I'll mail you about this and see what we can work out!
Cheers,

My name is S. Elitou and I am a self-taught pianist. I am new to the

An update on the new HTML rfkharris.com: the new site is looking good.
I have elected not to add any more free sheet music pieces to the old
Flash site until the new site is up, to make the current 'crossover'
process easier, but once the new rfkharris.com is up and running more
free sheet music arrangements will of course be added.
On another note, I'm pleased to announce that rfkharris.com has
received a nice mention and screenshot in the Summer 2005 edition of
Musician magazine, the journal of the Musician's Union. You can follow
the link to the important and invaluable MU on the rfkharris.com links
page.
Best wishes to all!

Dear All
Vantech Media (UK) have won the commission to produce the HTML
version of rfkharris.com, in construction as we speak. Just a few
weeks to go now before its launch.
Announcing a brand new feature on rfkharris.com: receipt of your
personalised sheet music as an MP3, via e-mail.
While receiving your sheet music by post or e-mail (as a printable
graphic), you can now choose to receive (instead OR additionally) an
MP3 of your music - EITHER of the whole piece, so you can hear what
it sounds like, OR of just the backing / accompaniment, leaving the
melody for you to play along to. Just state what option you'd like
when filling in the music arrangement forms in the usual way - it
doesn't cost any extra to get an MP3 as well as your sheet music!
Best to everyone,
Richard

PS Thanks for the post Aball Muse! your site is terrific.
Dear all
The full HTML version of rfkharris.com is progressing well, and will
be up and running within the next couple of months. This project in
acknowledgement of the fact that a small minority of people are
unable to view the site in its current 'Flash' design. We don't want
you to be left out!! The HTML version will be accessible by every
computer, and will offer exactly the same services as the Flash site -
personalised arrangements, compositions, transcriptions, free music
education games and free sheet music downloads.
In the meantime non-Flash users can always access the free sheet
music (HTML) page - which will also have further new pieces added to
it soon - via the link on the title page.
Another feature on its way is the availability of the three free
music games via PDF files on the site, in addition to the current
free postal service.
Keep an eye here for all the rfkharis.com news!

Dear all
There are four NEW pieces in the rfkharris.com free sheet music
download page - you can now download twenty different classical
pieces for free. Pieces will regularly be added! Just as a reminder,
all of these pieces (like the top twenty classics) can be
personalised in any way for just £5, with individual preferences of
instrumentation, difficulty level and key.
Other news: rfkharris.com was featured in The Daily Telegraph on
Saturday, February 19th, where it was recommended by John Clare in
his education column as a resource for classical musicians and
pupils. Many thanks to John for his recommendation.
Finally, some people have told us that, being programmed in Flash,
rfkharris.com is not always accessible by every computer. We have
taken note of this and started work on a complete HTML version of the
site, which will provide every service and feature currently offered
by the Flash version. Updates on the progress of this parallel site
will be posted here!
Best wishes to all,
Richard
