Hillary Wallace & Reed Waddle
Wednesday, Oct. 15 @ 8:00 pm [FREE]

This week's Steel City Session features Hillary Wallace, our August 2008 Open Mic winner and the soulful pop of emerging singer/songwriter Reed Waddle.

Lotus Hill & 92nd Street
Friday, Oct. 17 @ 8:30 pm [$10 ADV / $12 DOS]

Hear two sets of melodic rock this Friday. Lotus Hill formed from the ashes of past local bands Anam Cara, Broken Jones, Three Stories High and The Phoenix Trap. The combo creates personal songs with a sound that falls somewhere in between 10,000 Maniacs and the Indigo Girls with a tinge of rock thrown into the mix. Also performing, 92nd Street is an acoustic duo featuring Hugh Colocott, a Brooklyn singer/songwriter and Doug Hill, a PA singer/songwriter. Both played with a variety of regional groups and solo. Together, they create a smooth, Eagles-like country rocking sound.

Deb Callahan Band & Mojo Stu
Saturday, Oct. 18 @ 8:30 pm [$12 ADV / $15 DOS]

Enjoy a double shot of blues on Saturday. Philadelphia's soulful vocalist and songwriter Deb Callahan celebrates the release of her third CD, "Grace & Grit," which debuted in September. Her band creates contemporary jams with all the elements of timeless blues, soul, funk and rock music. Also performing is Mojo Stu who has shared the stage with such music luminaries as Robert Cray, Dr. John, Leon Russell, Johnny Winter and others. His brand of traditional based blues has been described as foot-stomping, gut grabbing and fuel for the soul.
