*****THIS WEEK'S MUST-HAVE RELEASE!

BEAUTIFUL LEOPARD "HOW LONG WILL IT
TAKE?"
EXCELLENT!!
Considering that Beautiful Leopard's debut album was supposed to be
released earlier this year, the title "How Long Will It Take?" is
fitting. After a release on Germany's great Strange Ways label, several European
tours, and a split 7" with Das Weeth Experience, Beautiful Leopard
are set to release their excellent and melodic pop-rock in North America via
Artoffact Records.
Beautiful Leopard lands somewhere in the realm of traditional post rock
and slow country, a place which reminds us of Mercury Rev, Guided By
Voices, even at times of Johnny Cash singing for Do Make Say Think.
There's a bit of Pavement in there, a bit of Stars, too. Psychedelic organ contrasts with a lonely, melancholic voice, only to be patiently put to bed with a crying guitar. Guest appearances of cello,
trombone and accordion contribute to a fully rounded album that never
disappoints.
Dust-dry desert country and good times!
Released on Artoffact and available October 30th, 2007.

*****OUR HOT PICKS FOR THE
WEEK:

MINISTRY "THE LAST SUCKER LIMITED"
Deep in the heart of Hell Paso Texas, Ministry's Al Jourgensen's studio
has been at warp speed for the past year, furiously hammering out the third and
final edition of the trilogy, The Last Sucker follows 2004's Houses Of The Mole
and 2006's Rio Grande Blood. After twelve albums and 27 years (including four
Grammy nominations), Uncle Al's decided the Ministry garage is ready to close its
doors, leaving The Last Sucker as the final Ministry studio offering.
Welcome to the renegade road warrior Al Jourgensen's latest behemoth an off-the-map,
12 hundred horsepower vehicle. Fuel-injected with equal parts fury, disgust,
distrust and dismay, spitting and sizzling with grease and venom, each
joint heaves under the pressure of emotionally relentless delivery. From the
first double-digit salvo of 'Let's Go,' with its deliciously bizarre trademark Ministry wasteland brutality, Jourgensen outlays a glorious smorgasbord of
Ministry mayhem. Strap on 'Death & Destruction' for joyriding thrills,
'Watch Yourself' for its distinctive Ministry 'sample and slam you' warning, 'The
Dick Song,' for Ministry's tribute to the current US Veep, and a
propane-powered cover of The Doors 'Roadhouse Blues.' Released on 13th Planet and
available September 18th, 2007.

HELALYN FLOWERS "A VOLUNTARY COINCIDENCE
LIMITED"
The press enthusiastically welcomed their "Plaestik" ep with
open arms and many qualified the Italian duo of HELALYN FLOWERS as the hottest Alfa Matrix
signing of the year! And we can only agree! HELALYN FLOWERS' strong and alluring
imagery concept has led them to numerous media opportunities including full-page features in fashion, culture and music magazines devoted to n0emi and
maxx's style. And with their crafty ways of merging apparently opposing music
genres, HELALYN FLOWERS are bound to become the leaders of a Nu-Electro Rock wave.
Whether Electro or Metal, HELALYN FLOWERS will absolutely shake the
foundations of all preconceived musical standards. HELALYN FLOWERS' intensive work
reveals a wide range of influences from Nu/Goth Metal, Industrial, Alternative,
Electronic and even some elements extending towards Cold Pop. We can easily say that
their music is unique and will ultimately bring a provocative level of freshness
to the scene. Their debut full-length album "A Voluntary
Coincidence" showcases the depth and artistry of this band by rending an innovative mix of powerful
drum beats, sensational female vocals, heavy guitars, pulsating bass,
atmospheric orchestrations and uniquely styled synths. Take a deep breath, HELALYN
FLOWERS' force and versatility will blow you away. Released on Alfa Matrix and

PRE-ORDERS!!

LEAETHER STRIP "RETENTION NO. 1"
On November 13th 2007, Danish electronic industrial artist Claus Larsen
turns 40. We could not find a better date to launch the first volume of LEAETHER
STRIP "Retention" box series through which Claus Larsen will
re-release his complete back-catalogue. Each re-release will have both the fully remastered
version of the original album on disc 1 and on the second disc, a totally rewritten
and reinterpretation of some selected songs from the original album by
LEAETHER STRIP himself rerecorded with current technologies. Initially released
back in 1990, the first milestone of a long, prolific and still boiling music
career today, "The Pleasure Of Penetration" was LEAETHER STRIP's debut
album which quickly established LEAETHER STRIP as one of the most exciting emerging
acts in Europe in the early 90's and one of the leading acts on the cult Zoth
Ommog / Music Research label. Tracks like "Japanese Bodies", "Razor
Blades" or yet "Go fuck your ass off!" instantly imposed the "LEAETHER STRIP"
trademark" renown for its punishing rhythm pace and aggressive electronic style with distorted
vocals. The ""Retention n°1" box includes 2 complementary albums:
first of which is the "The Pleasure Of Penetration" CD remastered by Claus Larsen
himself, giving a stronger and wider sound to this chef d'oeuvre while staying very faithful
to the original work. The original track-list has also been extended to 15
tracks with the addition of early 12" tracks and other rarities of the
period. Secondly, comes the "Pleasure Of Reproduction 2007" CD which
gathers some 10 selected tracks taken from disc one, totally re-written and re-recorded by
LEAETHER STRIP in the 2007 upgraded Strip Farm studio, benefiting from
today's technologies and Claus Larsen's acquired expertise through the years. Full-extended power blast guaranteed for LEAETHER STRIP's faithful and
ever growing fanbase. The "Retention" series proves that Electronic
Body Music is "NOT" dead and allows for the younger fan generation to discover
the early work of the living legend LEAETHER STRIP and realise that good old giants still
have their more than deserved place on the dancefloors today. Both discs are
NOT available separately and are only sold in this deluxe carton box which
also includes some additional fan goodies… Released on Alfa Matrix and
available November 13th, 2007.

NACHTMAHR "KUNST IST KRIEG"
With a drumming noise like an avalanche the electro/industrial-inspired
barrage beats of Thomas Rainer's (L'AME IMMORTELLE) new solo project are rushing
towards the clubs- accompanied by basic text scraps which allow no search for
cover: "Open fire!" Seven of his own tracks plus four remixes by
artists such as XOTOX, XPQ-21, FABRIKC and ENDIF will seduce the disciples of hammering electro
noise attacks and cast a spell over them. NACHTMAHR appears as "Deus ex
machina", unleashes a game in the sado-masochistic sense or is simple and basic. The
club hit "BoomBoomBoom" says it all: "I only have one intention.
I don't care whether you live or die. I only want to see you dance!" Smashing beat
structures, electro/ industrial rhythms as used by COMBICHRIST, SUICIDE COMMANDO or FEINDFLUG and provoking vocal samples culminate in a martial and
irresistible scenario. "Open Fire!". Released on Trisol and available
September 30th, 2007.
