*****THIS WEEK'S MUST-HAVE RELEASE!

BLUE BIRDS REFUSE TO FLY "XENOMORPH
ANGEL"
With a fresh charming appearance in the face of their new frontwoman -
lead vocalist Eva K., the new Blue Birds Refuse To Fly are no longer Kyriakos
P.'s (keyboards, programming) personal project as it used to be. Along with the
band's producer George P. (keyboards, guitars), the band is now more
flexible, experienced and powerful than ever before.
The new album "Xenomorph Angel" (translated as "Alien Angel") is full of spacewaves, glances at the moon, hitch-hyking to the stars, rides towards
the ends of the universe... and back. Although seduced by the alien-xenomorph
angel's touch, the album has an earthly individuality after all.
The characteristic elements that defined BBRTF's sound all these years are
present here as well: lyricism, melody, mystery and sensuality... Released
on Decadance and available October 15th, 2007.

*****OUR HOT PICKS FOR THE WEEK:

EISHEILIG "AUF DEM WEG IN DEINE
WELT"
Instead of playing it safe after the succès d'estime of
"Elysium", repeating their tried and tested recipe for success, EISHEILIG are presenting a
courageous fourth album in "Auf dem Weg in deine Welt", leading away from
metres-high walls of guitar sounds to more breezy tones. "Our dark phase was simply
over after 'Elysium', after all we had expressed everything we wanted to say at that
time," guitarist Till Maiwald describes the band's currently more open and
optimistic mood. "First and foremost, music should be fun and give you strength,
never mind whether it's dark or not. We want people to feel strengthened after
listening to our album. It doesn't always have to be about apocalyptic scenarios,"
he explains. "Our lyrics are more personal and direct this time, whereas
in the past metaphorical lyrics about religious subjects tended to dominate. Now
the tracks are more accessible, without actually being uninspired." At
the same time, "Auf dem Weg in deine Welt" has a wider thematic range
than the self-contained, darkly menacing microcosm that was "Elysium".
This new optimism is reflected in "Dunkelste Stunde", among others, which
quintessentially states that there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. "Steht
Auf" has a similar tendency, picking up on the strange phenomenon that people like to
complain and whine a lot, but few actually do anything about the current situation – a
typically German apathy that the band tries to counteract with 70s rock
guitar riffs and a positive attitude. This fresh breeze is partly due to the
arrival of the new bassist, Markus Vogler, who came to replace founder member Niklas
Peternek in early summer 2007, forming the rhythm section together with
drummer Dominik Sapia. Markus is a real asset to the remaining band members,
infecting them with his spirit at the studio. Released on Ewave and available
October 15th, 2007.

BOBBY "THE GHOST OF YOUR REMAINS"
Bobby is back! The first single – "The Ghost of You Remains" –
is a beautiful and breathtaking pop song about losing someone close. The song is
dedicated to Torben Does father who passed away in cancer a couple of years ago. All
proceeds from the single is donated to the Swedish Child Cancer Foundation.
"The Ghost of You Remains" presents you with three versions of the title track –
one radio edit, an extended version and a dancefloor remix by Carl Hammar from
Daybehavior. Add to this the wonderful B-side "2 to Believe" and you have a
more than impressive comeback. Release on Memento Materia and available October
15th, 2007.

3/4HADBEENELIMINATED "THEOLOGY"
Soleilmoon Recordings is proud to announce the simultaneous release of 3/4HadBeenEliminated's new CD and LP, titled "Theology" and
"The Religious Experience", respectively.
3/4HadBeenEliminated was founded in 2002 in Bologna, Italy as a trio, with
Stefano Pilia, Claudio Rocchetti and Valerio Tricoli. An eponymous album
was released in 2003 by Bowindo. In 2004 the group welcomed Tony Arrabito and
became a quartet. The next year Hapna put out their second album "A Year of
the Aural Gauge Operation", and in 2006 the band self-released a 7 inch single
"DimethylAtonalCalcine".
The group straddles the line between live improvisation and studio experimentation, blending and shaping raw sounds into living pieces, then
gently dissecting the delicately structured songs into disruptive sonic
excursions more evocative of moving shadows and swirling leaves than recognizable tunes.
Stasis and stability are nowhere to be found here. Instead, an ever-changing
dialogue between structure and chaos shifts from one performer to the next, never
resting long before launching again into shuddering flight. Accoustic instruments
and vocals form a familiar reference point, but studio treatments take the
music into psychedelic and cinematic realms.
In their words , "Improvisation is a way to experiment without
thinking. When our improvisations 'work', the music just happens on its own. It reveals
itself as if guided by its own logic, its own desire. In fact we don't even feel
like we are actually playing the music. It's more like a stream that moves and
changes autonomously. With composition (editing, overdubs, etc. etc.) we
then remodel this stream, trying to make it more complex, 'forever lasting,
forever changing', in the sense that every hearing will reveal a new perspective
of the music. As a live band, we improvise 100%, and it's really risky, but when
it 'happens', it's the greatest satisfaction."
"Theology" is presented in a wooden box with a hinged cover
decorated with layers of hand-painted tracing paper, and is limited to 450 copies on CD.
The companion vinyl LP "The Religious Experience" is a
reinterpretation of the recordings made for the CD. The LP is limited to 225 copies. The two
albums – and their music – should be considered as mirror opposites. Where theology
is a completely artificial system of belief, a religious experience is the
immediate experience of the thing itself. Likewise, the music on
"Theology" is complex and elaborate, while "The Religious Experience" is much simpler,
going directly to the heart of the material comprising "Theology". Thus, the two
works are independent, yet relate to each other as mother and daughter. Released on
Soleilmoon and available October 15th, 2007.

PRIDE AND FALL "IN MY TIME OF
DYING" 01. Intro
NOW SHIPPING!!
Divorce, a friend's suicide, a loss in the family, your
record label goes out of business, taking with it a good
chunk of the music scene...the past 12 months have not
been kind to PRIDE AND FALL. But the events have
clearly left their mark on the title, lyrics, and artwork
of their new album, "In My Time Of Dying", which was
largely written during this trying period. As so often
happens during periods of personal crisis, creative
energies can flourish, and the Norwegian trio have
summarily delivered an electronic masterpiece.
You needn't be a mindreader to see the dark threads running through this
album. When the album artwork consists of depictions of three young artists as
old and decrepit, with split fingernails, thinning hair, and sagging shoulders,
it's clear this is more than just some marketing gag. „Its about how everything
ends, crumbles apart and withers. Things that get taken away from you without
you having any control over it.“ Accordingly, PRIDE AND FALL have gone to
great lengths to make this, quite possibly the last album of their career, their
most intense and professional. While highly danceable, much of the album's
tracks are underscored by a certain penetrating darkness, especially "The
Painful Regret", "My Little", and "In My Time Of Dying", reflecting the
intensity of experience dealt out by the hand of fate. While PRIDE AND FALL might come to an end
with this album, the album itself will live on, a testament to a band who have
immortalized their sorrows in a remarkable way. Released on Metropolis
Records.

BOUNTE "ONE"
FINALLY SHIPPING!!
Bounte (bown' · tee) is a cross-boundary electronica producer in Chicago.
His music blends slices of pop, IDM, hip-hop, rock, dance, jazz, and
classical, into a hypnotic, yet energetic, collaged groove.
Bounte grew up in Chicago, and started playing trumpet at an early age. He
began his fascination with computer production in the 80s with bleeps and clicks
on the Apple IIe, which eventually escalated in to the fluid modern
production environment of Ableton Live, his current tool of choice. He is able to use
his classical and jazz training to bring an air of sophistication and a new
palette of sounds to the electronic music genre, while still drawing on the deep tradition of Chicago's rich blues and electronic histories.
Bounte is an accomplished visual artist, and his live performances reflect
that, with vivid computer graphics and filmed landscapes moving in counterpoint
to the music. "Art and music compliment one another, satisfying different
basic compulsions that we have," he notes. "I approach music with a
very visual mindset, sequencing samples, grooves, and melodies together like a
collage, refining my compositions layer by layer, and hopefully sharing a few
moments of how I experience the world. Released on Positron.

CHRIS RANDALL "THE DEVIL HIS DUE"
FINALLY SHIPPING!!
After eighteen years of fronting the pioneering industrial rock band
Sister Machine Gun, Chris Randall has returned to his roots with the release of
The Devil His Due, his first solo album. The Devil His Due recalls the
traditional American styles of blues, early jazz, and vaudeville, mixed together with
the dark, foreboding feel that Randall is known for. While there is obvious
homage to the alternative blues of Nick Cave and Tom Waits, and even the
klangmusik of Einstuerzende Neubauten, Randall creates an altogether different result,
one that reflects his own life and musical skills.
Born in 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in rural Oregon, Chris
Randall's first twenty years in this world were a haze of sagebrush and poverty. He
moved to New York City in 1988, and formed Sister Machine Gun in 1989. Soon
relocating to Chicago, he spent nearly two decades pushing against the boundaries of
the industrial genre, receiving wide praise (and healthy criticism as well, it
should be noted) for introducing jazz and blues elements in to that
somewhat limited form of expression. With seven Sister Machine Gun albums, four
EPs, and countless singles under his belt, along with production and artist credits
on over 60 other releases, Randall felt it was finally time to explore new
musical territory in areas closer to his personal tastes, and The Devil His Due
was born.
The Devil His Due was written and recorded over a two-year period entirely
in Randall's own Shaolin Fist Of Death studio, following his move back to
rural Oregon in 2005. Performed partly on homemade or found instruments, the
album is a complete sonic about-face from Randall's earlier work, yet it maintains
the writing style he is already known for. Events in Randall's life provide
the fodder, and he created a colorful cast of characters to act out the drama
in the songs. The album has a fluid story, yet each song tells its own version of
the classic Faustian bargain. From the opening count-off of "Judas
Iscariot" to the final romping jump-blues of "It's All The Same In the
Nighttime," The Devil His Due is both an exploration of traditional music styles and an entirely new
form of expression. Released on Positron.

REVOLUTION STATE "VERSUS NOIZEKATT"
FINALLY SHIPPING!!
Revolution State was founded by Ben P. and Bonnie P. in the fall of the
year 2000. In 2003 they contributed two songs to the Velvet Acid Christ album
Hex Angel: Utopia Dystopia, "Misery", and "Eva". The
tracks were well received by fans and critics alike, and IGN.com even praised "Eva", calling
it "a quasi-instrumental minimalist piece that is evocative of Coil's Musick to
Play in the Dark that shows a softer, almost ambient, side to VAC." These
Velvet Acid Christ tracks, as well as the tracks previously written by the band laid
the ground work for the Revolution State sound: a blend of elements from dark
electro, idm, and power noise that allow for a unique and varied listening
experience. In the spring of 2005 Ben and Bonnie formed their noisy ebm
project Noizekatt, showcasing Bonnie's vocals with driving distorted rhythms and aggressive synths. Although Noizekatt was originally a live only project,
it soon became an official second project. In June 2006 the Revolution State
track “Deny” received recognition through a compilation appearance on Endzeit Bunkertracks Act 2, released by the Belgian Alfa-Matrix label. In August
of the same year, Revolution State contributed two amazing remixes to Velvet Acid
Christ's "Wound" single: "Wound (Legacy of the
Revolution)", and "Ghost Regen (Fractured Coils Version)". "Wound" ranked on the Deutsch
Alternative Chart's singles chart for seven weeks and held the #1 position for four weeks. In
October Revolution State contributed an ethereal dance remix of the song
"Demon Breeder" to Neikka RPM's album The Rise of the Thirteenth Serpent.
Revolution State vs. Noizekatt is the debut CD for both projects. It is a full length
CD which contains five tracks by Revolution State, and five tracks by
Noizekatt, which gives the listener an opportunity to hear the best of both projects
on one CD. The first five tracks of the CD feature the intelligent
electro-industrial of Revolution State, which pair a full and textural sonic landscape and
complex custom made rhythms with the emotional and politically aggressive vocal of
Ben P., and the sweet robotic voice of Bonnie P. The last five tracks of the
CD feature the "terror clash" of Noizekatt, a genre name coined by
Bryan Erickson of Velvet Acid Christ specifically for the Noizekatt project, and combine
a distorted rhythmic assault and minimal analog electronics with Bonnie P.'s
endearing avant-garde growl. Released on Vendetta.

SUICIDE INSIDE "LEARN TO SWALLOW"
FINALLY SHIPPING!!
It was expected that nothing would threaten us.
It was expected that people will cry when we leave.
It was expected that i would teach you how to swallow.
Coming out after SUICIDE INSIDE's debut album, "Theory Of The Arising Of
Desire" (Pflichtkauf), the new one, "Learn To Swallow", is a perfect continuation
of its mental aesthetic. And again, this is an unusual and aggressive mixture of
pounding rhythmic noise, broken beats and painful, dark melodics. This
time SUICIDE INSIDE brings more ambient synths, explosive rhythms and sharp
vocals than ever before. The words are razors. SUICIDE INSIDE has added new
sensations and the perception of the real opposed to fictitious worlds into their
sound. Massive fat beats, slightly faster than on "Theory Of The Arising Of
Desire", powerful bass-lines and psychedelic melodic structures - this is "Learn To
Swallow". No tragedy - no history. Released on Pflichtkauf.

The album has a ecleptic mix of New Wave, Synth, Goth, Industrial, Punk,

contrived. There is a good flow here and the lyrics contain a very sarcastic, yet
realistic look at todays society as well.
Jeffies vocals also range in style and show alot of flavour and sometimes
remind us of "the B-52's" Fred Scheider. He also showcases some cool German lyrics/vocals on "I was god". There is something very contagious
here.
The chugging guitar rhythms(and occasional leads)Chris provides give
VERTIGO VENUS huge appeal to the Metal crowds as well as the Industrial
