*****THIS WEEK'S MUST-HAVE RELEASE!

NINE INCH NAILS "GHOSTS I-IV"
Nine Inch Nails presents Ghosts I - IV, a brand new 36 track instrumental collection available right now. Almost two hours of new music composed and recorded over an intense ten week period last fall, Ghosts I - IV sprawls Nine Inch Nails across a variety of new terrain.

Trent Reznor explains, "I’ve been considering and wanting to make this kind of record for years, but by its very nature it wouldn’t have made sense until this point. This collection of music is the result of working from a very visual perspective - dressing imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams. I’m very pleased with the result and the ability to present it directly to you without interference. I hope you enjoy the first four volumes of Ghosts."

Released on The Null Corporation and available April 8th, 2008.

36 Tracks: all titled Ghosts I, II, III, IV.

BITCRUSH "EPILOGUE IN WAVES"
"Epilogue in Waves" is the third album from n5MD main-man Mike Cadoo’s (GRIDLOCK) ever evolving Bitcrush moniker. The album is the soundtrack to a story which begins with a sense of hope, but whose undercurrents pull you to the end you feared. Epilogue in Waves marks the end of Cadoo’s "wading in the ocean" thematic metaphor for lost time that constituted the backbone of his previous album, "In Distance." As his self described "rock record," the album eschews some of Cadoo’s previous electronic methodologies for a more stripped-down songwriting style which utilizes only guitars, basses and drums. This experiment in the basics has led to a sonically rich release that still contains those warm musical crevices to find solace in. Epilogue in Waves will please fans of previous works by Bitcrush as well as neophytes to Cadoo’s brand of emotional and sometimes epic songwriting. Released on n5MD and available April 15th, 2008.

VARIOUS "DTRASH MUSIC VIDEOS"
Formed in 1998, Canada's D-TRASH Records started as an online collective by members of CPUWAR and DJ RABIES as the beginnings of an international network of exciting and extreme North American electronic music artists. In 2000, the group formed into an official record label, headed by D-TRASH artist SCHIZOID, the label now offering pressed CD releases for sale in stores; as well, continuing the practice of releases of full-length albums through the internet as MP3 for download. The label set the underground on fire with an arsenal of genre-defining artists, sprouting into an international beast, with artists in virtually every country in the world. DIFFUZION "BODY CODE - LIMITED"
Belarusian DIFFUZION offer a combination of straight-on EBM and upbeat dark electro with a clear melodic synth pop touch while Xev's charismatic and intriguing female vocals guarantee an impressive diversity to the album through her ability to go from harsh bitchy distorted vox to warmer dreamy singing. A solid debut album from Eastern Europe, full of cold upbeat electronics with striking female vox that will rapidly place DIFFUZION on the forefront of the female-fronted league of EBM/industrial acts alongside bands like AYRIA, PZYCHOBITCH, etc.

It was in 2005 in Minsk (Belarus) that Fof (also known for his EFF DST idm-electronica project) created DIFFUZION with the intention of mixing darkwave/electro-industrial with female vocals and give it an overall club feel. He found in Xev (singer of the famous Belarusian metal band VICIOUS CRUSADE) the perfect female voice that would give his full-on frontal electronic venture a very unique dimension. And with the extended line-up to a trio with the addition of Taelih on synths, it took them only a few months before DIFFUZION started catching the attention of the masses through their highly explosive live performances across Eastern Europe and eventually get signed by Belgium’s Alfa Matrix label.

The “Body Code” album will also be available as a limited double-cd carton box edition including a bonus disc with exclusive bonus songs and special remixes by bands like EFF DST, EX.ES, ACYLUM, ESSENCE OF MIND, INDIVIDUAL TOTEM, IMPLANT, CERVELLO ELETTRONICO, COMPLEX MIND, PSY’AVIAH, UBERBYTE. XOTOX "HYPERACTIVE (BEST OF)"
xotox was founded in 1998 as a solo-project by andreas davids. adequately described by himself as "industrial for hyperactive people", the xotox-sound is characterised by hard beats, catchy melodies and merciless noise-attacks. the debut-album "stueckgut" developed a small cult following, which eagerly anticipated the following releases "epos" and "monolith". with the release of "disinhibition" xotox started performing live around germany, winning more fans and attracting media attention for the first time. the following albums "normalzustand: angst" and "rhythm of fear (live in jena)" got a variety of great reviews. in 2002 "silberfieber" and the minialbum "nothing" were released featuring the hits "eisenkiller", "nothing", "null" and "zweischicht", which went on heavy rotation in many clubs in germany. both releases had this success resulted in xotox being picked up by industrial label pronoize, which in turn led to xotox getting a much higher profile in part through their contributions to high profile compilations such as "industrial frequencies vol. 5" and "industrial highlights vol. 1" both put together by the german scene magazin orkus.

AUTUMN'S GREY SOLACE "ABLAZE"
ablaze: radiant with light or emotion.

"Autumn's Grey Solace have rebuilt the shimmering craft of ethereal/shoegazer rock and have equipped it with their own essentials. Erin Welton's luminous vocals are untethered and airy, but her tenderness keeps her real, while Scott Ferrell's guitar envelops and cushions her in a fabric of smoothly shifting color and texture." - Gothic Beauty

The flame of inspiration continues to burn brightly on Ablaze, the fifth album (in six years) from ethereal shoegaze artists Autumn's Grey Solace. Ablaze contains eleven tracks of passionately created dreampop gems. Erin Welton's crystal clear vocal melodies soar into the heavens while Scott Ferrell's lush backdrop of guitars and other stringed instruments are richly orchestrated, with great attention paid to clarity and detail. The music is alive with blazing, echoing guitar chords, sun-kissed vocal harmonies, and a blistering rhythm section. Ablaze is a warm, glowing version of shoegaze, and celebrates the beauty and romanticism of the genre.

"Whereas other bands pile on the doom and gloom to an almost suffocating degree, Autumn's Grey Solace lets the music breathe. They possess a shimmering beauty that shines through the shadows. A fragile beauty, perhaps, but a beauty nonetheless." - Liar Society

"Scott Ferrell's gorgeous treated guitars, Welton's honey voice, and a Lush-ious late-night, glide through wintry evergreens ears -- like the later Cocteaus circa Heaven and Las Vegas or Milk & Kisses. Love it." - The Big Takeover. Released on Projekt and available May 6th, 2008.

MONSTRUM SEPSIS "ARTIFACTS"
Monstrum Sepsis returns with their third full length release on WTII titled Artifacts. As with 2005’s Movement, Artifacts follows the Monstrum Sepsis formula by blending layers of synths over waves of pulsating and pounding percussion. Unlike most bands within the genre, Monstrum Sepsis places a heavy emphasis on melody and structure. The signature Monstrum Sepsis sound is evident from the opening bars of “Smoke ‘em,” to the powerful undertones in “Glimpse” and carries through to the harmonious “Wit’s End Persistence.” In addition to the sonic soundscapes, Artifacts spices things up with some politically charged samples that reflect the current world moods and trends. These political affairs are exposed in the thought provoking and intelligent tracks “Opus Dictum,” “Squelch” and “War of Ideas.” Overall, Artifacts is a solid release that will take the listeners on an aural journey of substance and significance. Released on WTII and available April 2008.

ASP "HORROR VACUI (BEST OF)"
NOW SHIPPING!!
ASP - this name has been a symbol for highly entertaining releases of the most successful German Gothic Rock band in recent years - in and also well beyond the Gothic culture. Consequently, the time is more than ripe for a Best-Of-CD which contains their greatest hits: "Horror Vacui". ASP's unmistakable Gothic novel rock can always be regarded as a total work of art: music, lyrics and images seem to be of equal importance. Thus every single album including the Best-Of is part of major concept.

"Horror Vacui" refers to the fear of nothingness which results in the profound human desire of trying to find a meaning in everything. The human spirit cannot bear the idea of absolute emptiness and thus emptiness becomes an existential nightmare, especially in the sense of spiritual emptiness. Therefore, the title is part of a scheme and represents the musical search of ASP which culminated in the latest album "Requiembryo".

"Horror Vacui" is a monument of Gothic Rock nobody can elude who is fond of classics such as Sisters of Mercy, Fields of the Nephilim, The Mission or their modern heirs Rammstein and InExtremo. Those who have known ASP a bit longer, have the chance to experience "old" material (33 songs on 2 CDs) in a new context. The album was arranged by S. Schmetterling and Matthias Ambré themselves, numerous songs were rerecorded and remixed and exclusive bonus material was added. The sumptuous DigiBook is complemented by a 40-pages Booklet including two breath-taking motives taken from "Weltunter" by Ingo Römling. However, the Fan-Box which has a luxurious silver foil embossing and is limited to 1.999 pieces offers even more: an additional DVD-DigiBook containing the music short film "Me", the trailers to "Horror Vacui" and a Making-Of-picture gallery - plus a special gimmick: a frame- snippet of the original 35mm-celluloid-film reel with certificate.

All in all one can say that the complete oeuvre ASP could not have culminated any better - "Horror Vacui" has already become a milestone of its genre. Released on Trisol.

AUTECHRE "QUARISTICE"
NOW SHIPPING!!
The music on Quaristice manages to make Autechre's complex sound designs feel simpler than before, which of course is an art itself. With a selection of tracks that sound like an album made on deep reflection, the whole album is kept exciting through the sheer range of music and ideas.
It's a more generous album than more recent albums by them, more playfull, with shorter tracks. At times tracks contain recognizable forms from electronic music's past, especially the pre 90's hip hop, electro and house that Autechre talk about as being the formative music of their youth, but these elements have all been made to adhere to the groups hands on approach to music making. On the surface tracks seem stripped down, but the subtlety of the production comes across in the same instance.

Surprisingly given it's Autechre, who have been known for some of the most extreme music on Warp in the past, it's got moments of utter beauty, in a way Autechre hasn't really shown before, it's melodic and impressionistic, more open and very engaging more so on repeated listening. Released on Warp.
