survey...i got this from an R.E.M. live journal community i am a part of and i
think it's a good idea to get to see people's fave things about R.E.M. so here's
mine, i hope you fill it out!

2. Age: 19
3. Are you in the fanclub?: yes, i finally rejoined after letting it expire for
a good 2 or so years
4. Are you on We Talk? If so, what's your username?: nope, i am gonna join soon,
though
5. How long have you liked REM?: since new adventures in hi-fi was released in
1996- e-bow the letter made me fall in love with the band, which is kinda odd, i
suppose
6. What is your favorite REM CD?: hi-fi :)
7. What is your favorite song by REM?: "sweetness follows," "half a world away,"
"beat a drum" (demo)
8. What is your least favorite REM song if you had to choose one?: ahhhhh this
is kinda hard....i gotta say "chorus and the ring," there is something about
that song i just don't dig!
9. What song by REM means the most to you and why?: oh my gosh, so many songs
mean so much to me...right now i gotta say "be mine"- it is me and my
boyfriend's song and it holds a lot of meaning....
10. Post any random REM Lyric here: "not everyone can carry the weight of the

11. If you could spend one day with any member of REM who would it be, what
would you do, and why would you chose THAT particular member?: toss up between
mike or peter. i'd love to talk to mike about musical things, while i can see
myself having a thrilling intellectual conversation with peter
12. Have you ever been to an REM Show?: yeah, in 1999 and more recently last
month :)
13. What was the first REM CD you ever bought?: new adventures in hi fi
14. What is your favorite REM video?: "bang and blame" and "electrolite"

reckoning - "so. central rain."

lifes rich pageant - "fall on me"

automatic - "sweetness follow" (seeing this performed live blew me away)
monster - this one is a lot harder for me to decide- i guess "what's the
frequency, kenneth?"

**note...i have tons of singles, imports, rarities, etc...i just chose the
albums :)
16. Name a few other bands you are into: radiohead, the cure, u2, coldplay, tori

17. What is your favorite song by another band of your choice? "green
eyes"~coldplay
18. Favorite member of REM and why?: MIKE. he has the most melodic bass rifts
and i totally dig that- i love the bass and he plays it as i would. i also have
a weird little crush on him, and always have...hehe
19. What do you think is the WORST genre of music?: i really don't care for
country :(
