Styx Orchestra

Hey David, Lawrence Gowan started doing his songs with orchestras in Canada
about 10 years ago. I`ve seen him do those shows many times. The last time was
in '06 and the guitar player from Styx, JY, was sitting behind me for the
concert. During the intermission I asked him what he was doing in our
neighbourhood. He said he was just down to check out Lawrence's show with the
orchestra. It was later that year that Styx did the orchestra show with the
kids. So I kind of think maybe JY was checking out Lawrences show to see if
that was someting that Styx should do. I agree with you that the Styx concert
was pretty good but I also thought it was a great great idea to inspire a
lot of young budding musicians as to what real music is. The joy on their
faces was amazing.............BRAD

Hard to believe, since that's such a dark and awful song. Styx fans must be into doom and gloom. Not my cup of tea....

I don't think it's doom and gloom, it's just the truth. Some people just have a criminal mind. A lot of fans at Styx shows in Canada are there to see Lawrence...
