Try contacting Guitar Salon International in L.A., Guitar Solo in S.F. or Trilogy Guitars in San Diego for more information about an eight string. As far as arrangements you'll probably have to do your own.

I know of someone selling a Charlie Hunter model 8 string built by Ralph Novak in Santa Cruz CA. This is an amplified guitar though, not acoustic. Ed ...
