i found it stupid that CBS cut reba and the song that Bruce Willis
was to preform on the show it seem to be prejudice since they showed
more black than white preformers...and i mean no disrespect to any
african american fans on this list.. but here is the feedback i sent
to cbs "Genius:A Night For Ray Charles you promoted Ms. Reba
Mcentire on your site and our guide for cable also listed her as a
preformer in the show and i also know she was there and sang the
song "I Can't Stop Loving you" and you showed her son and husband in
the audience and her costars from the Wb's REBA in the audience as
well.I even missed Ms. Rebas show to view this program to see her
preform..and now i will have ot wait till reruns to catch up on her
program..i find it very Cruel that you would show 2 songs that Ms.
Mary J. Blige and Sir Elton John sang, and cut One of Country, and
Television and Broadways top preformers...the show was Predomonatly
black and only showed 3 white preformers which i find a little
prejudice seing there were 5 black preformers and 2 white
preformers were cut Ms. Reba McEntire and the preformance by Mr.
Bruce willis. which was advertised in the previews. I understand
that Mr. Ray Charles was black but that doest mean the white
preformers Cant love him as much as the black. I figure you will
release a DVD of the whole show to cash in on the death of mr. Ray
charles showing the cut preformces. Which i find a little sick not
to let the fans enjoy a great tribute to a great man with out having
to spend high dollar to purchase a DVD from you to enjoy it. I would
like an email back explaing why you cut the 2 preformers from the
show....Unless this is explained i will be boycotting CBS and
telling all my in person and online friends to do the same...I would
say thank you fo1r your time but i dont think that is needed
here...Good Bye"
