"Strangeworld" has some ok songs on it, but it appears that he didn't
really have any kind or producer or sound engineer for the tracks. Much
like what that blog mentions, it's just a handful of demo songs.
"To Live" seems to suffer from the same flaws, but it's a much better
album in my opinion since "Strangeworld" was just "See Me Riding" part
two. The album has a few tracks on it which make the album drag on too
long since they sound too similair (tracks 2, 3, 14, 15), but without
them and a little better mixing, Rev really could have gained more
recognition for it.
So has anyone heard Vega's "Station" yet? It comes out in a few weeks,
but there's already advance copies of it floating on P2P servers. Just
haven't had the time to download it yet.
I'm kind of worried that Vega is starting to run out of ideas as well.
The new track that was posted here sounded like he was just trying to
imitate the last stuff he did with Pan Sonic. Hopefully the entire album
doesn't end up sounding like that.
We'll wait and see.
