Thanks Gareth for putting together the sets for me, I watched the
show some 9 times and still would of had to go back over the videos
to check on what I might have missed. The show at Riffs was great
until someone had the great idea of finding Eddie Cochran---and did
at 1am.The last show I have to say was my favorite, tho I missed my
bear hug from you Gareth! Derby was packed
not just with friends and family but with folk who just wanted to
listen to some great rockin music and have a good night out. I had
soooooo many emails and phone calls last week in appreciation of the
music, the show and of course the band, but also how well we had
promoted it. I am in week one of the tour diary and am adding pix to
it it will all be up on he UK website in due course.
It was great meeting everyone at The Chequers, and I had a lovely
email from Roy, we don't need any encouragement to pay another
visit!!!!! Yes we were tired at the end, David driving thru the
night with Robby for company and Paul eating crisps, and sleeping and
me likewise but eating grapes, the healthy option, in the back. Until
that is we needed petrol when I was rudely awakened to go and pay for
it. Is no-one else capable---!! It was somewhat a responsibility to
get all and sundry to where they need to be at any one time, get them
fed, watered, and indeed JD'd!! I see no coke!!!!!Then there was CD
sales, maintaining records and of couse the 18 month plus work to get
it all put together in the first place, no wonder I look 104 years
old---I'm actually only 24 LOL
We have now for the most part caught up on sleep------tho if I shut
my eyes now------!! Its good to be back to "normal", but we wouldnt
of missed it for anything made so many new friends, yourself and
Paul and Kathy being amongst them, spoke to them over the weekend---I
miss our time together, seems strange not spending our evenings as
drivers, roadies, tour managers cooks, the list goes on.
