This Roland VG-99 group will concentrate on quick response shout outs when having problems, programming advice, using the VG-99 for live performance, trading patches, and learning about the gear. All VG-99 users and future users are welcome.

The intent here being members that like the mailing system Yahoo provides can communicate maintaining only topics concerning the VG99, it's related gear/software and to use the file area to trade custom patches for the VG-99.

For those of you who have not seen this incredible piece of guitar gear, here are a few highlights on what it can do. The VG-99 contains an incredible range of COSM-modeled guitars and amplifiers including new electric, acoustic and bass guitar models, a new GR-300 synth wave and much more. It even models two signal paths at once.

It can produce custom tunings, anything the player desires on any virtual guitar. One tuned down four or five steps for a heavy sound, while another can be tuned as a 12-string, and also tuned down four or five steps at the same time. And this is only a fraction of what it can do.
