As the discussions and posts in this group have nearly come to a total stop, let
me restart with this:
Many rolls, which are intended to be played on a punmper player piano, show a
"dynamic" line, mostly in green dots, which is provided as a rule for the
pumping pianolist, who changed his pressure in pumping in order to let the piano
sound piano, forte and all other shades, according to the lateral position of
this line.
With the color sensitive scanners of the MK IV series acquiring this line should
not be too much a problem.
Applying the information hidden in this line to generate correct dynamic
(velocity) is not that trivial?
Any ideas?
