Having problems with message search?
First of all, a BIG thankyou to everyone who sang at Crowle. It was truly appreciated.
The next major service will be our Carol Service at St Paulinus' York on 21st December 2.30pm. We are hoping to have a rehearsal in the church on Saturday 6th December. The purpose of this message really is two fold - to find out how many singers we can get, as I realise it's the Sunday before Christmas, and how many can get to the rehearsal. We may change it to the Friday evening before if it suits more people. Transport for those without cars can easily be arranged of course.
I hope people can make it as one of the pieces we'd love to do is Pearsall's arrangement of In Dulci Jubilo, and it would be pointless to choose this if we don't have at least 8 singers [one voice per part]. :-)
Steve also would like Sweelinck's Hodie Christus Natus Est, and I'm sure there are other goodies suggested which call for more that just SATB.
If people could contact me or Bernadette preferably before Friday evening as we're hoping to sort out a basic order of service then as it's my only night in for 11 days, so I'm spending it looking at Christmas music!
