Carol Service

Hello Everyone!

In what seems like a spare 5 seconds I've got this morning before I dash off to sing Byzantine Chant in Leeds, I'm going to pass on details of the Carol Service arrangements so far....

Sunday 21st December 2:30pm in St Paulinus' Church, York.

First Rehearsal THIS FRIDAY 5th December 7:30pm also at St Paulinus'. I can get details to people with transport so you know where to find it! Transport for those without will be provided, just let me know and we can sort that out.

The service itself will be on the same lines as the last two years broadly following the format of 9 Lessons & Carols - but not quite! We also end with Benediction.

Bernadette & I went through the music last Friday and this is what we've come up with. I know we can't please everyone, some of my favourites didn't make it, but I think we can please most people, singers and non-singers alike.

Here is the list with Readings, most likely taken from the Jerusalem Bible.

CC1 & CC2 refer to Carols for Choirs 1 & 2 respectively

Welcome to St Paulinus'  Church, York
