This message is a little late, as a result of me changing jobs and settling in to my new 'Working Environment'

I'd like to thank everybody who took part in Last Saturday's Wedding. It was a tremendous success and a splendid occasion, and I hope that we will benefit from increased publicity as a result. I hope it's put us well and truly on the map!

The next service will also be at Barnard Castle on 24th July. It's a Gregorian Chant Requiem for the Founders of the Bowes Museum, so we just need Schola [Sorry, for this occasion Blokes only] for this. The next service for which we will need the full choir - unless something comes up in between! - is a Trad Mass for the Feast of the Guardian Angels on 2nd October. This will take place at Holy Souls, Church, Scunthorpe, where we sang the Monteverdi Missa a Quatro Voci back in 2002. Suggestions will be welcomed for suitable music please [!], but the Motet at Communion is already spoken for. It'll be a setting of either Panis Angelicus, or Ecce Panis Angelorum - surprise, surprise - and definitely NOT the Portuguese Melody, if we choose the latter!

If people could let me know whether they're interested for October, I'd be grateful - the more numbers we have [so long as the voices are balanced] the juicier the Mass setting will be!
