Dear Mike,
I should like to say how much we all appreciated The Rudgate Singers
today in Sheffield. It was a real treat for us. It was also good to
meet with so jolly a crowd! You must all of you have worked hard to
master the intricacies of the service. It all went remarkably smoothly!
And I was especially taken with the Cherubic Hymn - we could easily
have been in the Cathedral in London!
Please convey our thanks to all the singers - and it would be lovely to
see you all again before too long!
