Just a quick message to let you know that the next major service for us will be the 2nd Founders Day Requiem at St Mary's Church, Barnard Castle on 23rd July. As last year this will be the Gregorian Chant Requiem and also as last year I intend the Schola to be wearing the old choir robes which I 'rescued' from Leeds Cathedral - affectionately known as sackcloth - those of us who have worn them will know what I mean. :-) - UNLESS I can get enough black cassocks for all the singers......  
 
 If anyone knows where cheap [or even free!] cassocks can be obtained, please let me know!
