Sounds fabulous (though after 6 months here in Kosovo anything vaguely musical
sounds wonderful) but I'm still saving children in Kosovo. Hope it goes well
anyway. Missing music badly but it is 27 degrees today....
best wishes to all
Carol

Strictly speaking this isn't a proper Rudgate event as there will only be two
people per part (once Bernadette's got the necessary voices) - and no conductor!
The more people who can come along and support us the better though!

I'm still looking for a small group just to sing the Gregorian Chant Propers for
the Mass (Saturday Mass of Our Lady). This would really be the icing on cake!
Volunteers will be very welcome.....Otherwise I'll just make do with using a
psalm-tone.

The music is:

Byrd, Mass for 4 voices
Byrd, Ave Verum
Victoria, Ave Maria (4 voice version this time!)
plainsong Solemn Salve Regina
+ other hymns from the English Hymnal suitable for a Lady Mass and are known to
most of the singers!

I have one or two ideas hymn-wise, but I'm open to suggestions from those of you
who know the Hymnal (probably better than me).

Mike F.
