Mike,
Many thanks. Would prefer the Acomb location to rehearse as we know our way there now!! . Also, parking in York centre probably difficult (and not cheap)? Acomb remains favourite for this reason, but if we do end up in All Saints', I'll send out details to those coming from outside of York, who would be given priority regarding the limited number of spaces in the church's driveway.
Margaret may not be able to come this particular rehearsal day because of a clash of appointments (I shouldn't come either for the same reason, but...) May I also shamelessly publicise the following?:- Of course!
THE ACCORD SINGERS (http://members.aol.com/accordsingers/ Will be singing an Anglican Choral Evensong at the tiny, remote and historic Lead Chapel, nr Saxton - one of our regular events - on Sunday 11th May 2003 at 2.30pm. We shall also repeat the service in nearby Saxton church, later on the same day (time unclear - may be 5pm?). Allan and I had a very interesting 'experience' with the verger of Saxton Church on a churchcrawl round the area last year. He reminded me of a character from the Vicar of Dibley - shan't say which one though, perhaps Paul has an idea of who I mean!
