Happy 2008 Everyone!

...and welcome to a new year of touring!  OK, so maybe we really
haven't stopped but it's still going to be a new and exciting year,
none-the-less.  Among many things, the beginning of the year takes us
boldly where no LoCash Cowboy tour bus has gone before - the West Coast!

As we speak, we are headed to Las Vegas for a show @ Fremont Street on
Monday.  From there it's off to Elk Grove, CA and Fremont, CA for the
next few days.  We'll be bouncing around Cali for the rest of January
so if you are anywhere nearby, be sure to check out the tour
schedule.  Also, a ton of new dates have been added to the schedule
for the rest of the year.  This means we'll be back to familiar
territory in no time :-)

Thank you all for your support this past year.  It has honestly been
an amazing year and am blessed to be able to do what I do.  During
this Christmas, I hope you are all able to spend time with friends,

Holiday Greetings and Salutations!

Hard to believe that another year of touring is almost coming to a
close but we're not done for the year yet.  We still have a good
number of shows left in the year including a show in Las Vegas, NV and
the New Year's Eve Party in Evansville, IN.

And speaking of tour schedules, the 2008 Tour schedule is now online!
The new year looks to bring us back to familiar places but also boldly
where no LoCash Cowboy has gone before - The West Coast!  Right now
we've got shows planned in CA, AZ, TX and a few other stops in
between.  Soooo if you find yourself out west in the early part of
next year, don't be surprised if you see LoCash out there too!

There are a few new things at RyanJones.net and the first of which is
a Christmas Sale @ the web store! All items are deeply discounted so
check it out if you are looking for that perfect Christmas gift for
the fiddle-lovin' fan in your family.

Greetings of Thanksgiving and salutations from Indiana!

Though we are out on the road today (and away from family and
friends), Preston's family was kind enough to offer us shelter and
more food than you can shake a lightsaber at!  We've finished our
first Thanksgiving meal and I think I'm going to go into sugar shock
from the sweetness of the sweet potatoes!  I'll tell ya, they were
SOOOO good!

Anyway, I just wanted to pass along thanksgiving blessings to
everyone.  You all have been incredibly supportive and for that I am

The Official Ryan Jones Store ( @ ryanjones.net ) has been 'Coming
Soon' for almost two years and I am proud to say the wait is FINALLY
over!  When I first had the idea of starting it, I didn't realize how
much work would go into it.  Hopefully it will have been worth the
wait for you as well.

Since I've been touring, I've gotten a ton of requests from fans for
my fiddle bow after a show.  While I couldn't give them away as
easily as guitarists toss out guitar picks, I decided to make this
particular item the premier product on the store.  Right now there a
few different items available but over the next few months I plan on
adding more products.  If you would like to see a specific item,
please send your suggestions along.  Who knows, maybe one day it will
be available!

In other news, for those who have been long-time fans of my Road
Journal, you will be pleased to hear that new entries have been
posted as well!  It's been a long time (about a year) since the Road
Journal has been updated but lets just say, it hasn't been for lack
of stuff to write about.  The boys in LoCash have kept me busy
designing their new website, promotional material and merchandise and
I am glad to finally have time to get back to what I enjoy - writing
about life on the road!  By the way, since it was confusing before to
find out when the Road Journal has been updated, I've made it a tad
bit easier to tell.  Each time the journal is updated, the rotating
graphic on the front page will display a new picture from one of the
entries.  This way you won't be disappointed if I set a deadline and
don't make it because of lack of internet.

While at first the two might seem unrelated, the LoCash Cowboys tune
"Boom Boom" (formerly featured on CMT's Pageant School - Becoming
Miss America) was selected as the theme song for TNA Wrestling's
highly anticipated pay-per-view event.  Not only can the song be
heard on their advertisements all over TV, radio, the soon-to-be

Yes, you read that correctly!  LoCash will be filming their first
music video for "A Good Song" at our show on April 6th @ the Block in
Fort Walton Beach, FL!  That means everyone in the crowd has the
potential to be on TV!  So make sure to get there early and bring
plenty of friends to pack the place and lets try to blow the roof off
the Block!

And speaking of "A Good Song", that is just one of 5 brand spankin'
new tracks on the latest LoCash Cowboys CD!  Other new tracks include
the long awaited "Livin' It Up", "Boom Boom", "Let's Make Love Right
Now", "Yeah Yeah".  In addition, it features the LoCash classics

featured on CMT Insider that aired January 20th.  Unfortunately I
didn't catch the show but from what I'm told they interviewed Chris and

Miss America Special we did back in September.  Good news is that the
episode will be airing two more times:

So umm... remember that little TV shoot we did back in September with
the Miss America girls?  Well it's finally gonna air on TV!

the TV show "Pageant School: Becoming Miss America."  Now none of us
are actually IN the pageant...but Chris and Preston did teach the girls
