WEBSITE FACELIFT

http://www.summerrussell.com has been massively overhauled.  Drop by sometime to check out new audio clips, images, cool links, and a short biography of yours truly, all bundled up in a rudimentary but fairly well-organized package.  Updates will continue regularly, so please keep coming back to visit, bring your friends, and remember that suggestions are always welcome.

GRAPHICS CONTEST

Hey, Photoshop monkeys!

Now that I've got a cool website, I need cool ways to get people to visit it.  Namely, promotional graphics--icons, banner ads, huge animated flashing billboards, or anything else you can dream up as a pretty way of linking to summerrussell.com.  

If you'd like to try your hand at helping me out in this most worthy endeavor, I'll pick my favorites and feature them on my website.  The grand prize winner will also receive one free digital download, in the form of a full-length mp3 of their choice from the upcoming album "Out Of The Greenwood," before it's even released (visit the "albums" page to hear samples).  It's not much, but there you have it.

Two more new mp3s are now available for free download at MySpace - "Ol Grey Dog" and "A Little More."  

Eventually, I think, I'm going to run out of songs to distribute online, long before I ever actually finish an album.  But as long as folks are hearing, and enjoying, the tunes... then they're all gonna rush out to buy that CD the day it's released, right?
