In my everlasting quest for Star Trek facts, I stumbled across a
listing of Star Trek fan films on Memory Alpha (the most-reliable
source of Star Trek information, in my opinion). And guess what ....
we were listed!
Bwwaaaahaaaahaaa!!!!!!
Here's the link. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Fan_films
Obviously, I'm incredibly happy. In my opinion, this is better than
being listed on Wikipedia, especially these days. :)

In keeping with the traditions surrounding Tax Day here in America,
the first Act of our second episode, "To Err Is Human... To Really
Mess Things Up, You Need A Directive," was released last night at
11:38 PM.
We hope you enjoy this first part.
Watch for Act 2 toward the end of May, as our sound editor has a few
important things to take care of between now and then.... like get
married! So we decided to show him some love by not making him work
on Eras on his wedding night. Congratulations, Matt, and thanks for
all you do.
I am very pleased to announce that TrekUnited has added Star Trek:
Eras to their newly-created Audio Center, featuring Trek Broadcasts.
While I still encourage our loyal listeners to continue to visit our
home website, this will provide us with a great opportunity for
bringing in new listeners.
To find their Audio Center, go to
http://www.trekunited.com/community/index.php?act=SF&s=&f=349 and
click on the "Audio Drama 'ST: Eras'" button.
I am also taking this opportunity to announce that Act I of our second
episode will be available by April 15. Ring in Tax Day with a bit of
fun and join us for Act I of "To Err Is Human ... To Really Mess
Things Up, It Takes A Directive."
Just another reminder that Co-Creator and Producer Jim Caswell will be
appearing on TrekNation's LiveChat tomorrow at 7 PM CST. There will
be prises given away and a chance to talk with the heads of Online

To attend, go to www.treknation.com and enter their Forums section. A

I am pleased to announce that TWERPs has been invited to take part in
a LiveChat discussion with TrekNation. Moderated by staff writer
Kirok of L'Stok, this will be a meeting of the minds among the leaders
of Star Trek online radio production, including Eric Busby of Darker
Projects, (Star Trek: The Section 31 Files), Jeff Bridges of Pendant
Productions (Star Trek: Defiant) and Tanveer Naseer of Star Trek: Unity.
This is going to be a great opportunity to talk with and ask questions
of all of us who have chosen to work in this medium, as well as
discuss the potential future of this blooming industry.
The livechat will be taking place on Saturday, March 24 at 7 PM
central time at http://www.trekunited.com/ and I would greatly
encourage everyone to come join us in this great opportunity. A free
login is required to participate in the discussion.
I look forward to seeing you there.

For those of you who access our MySpace page, there has been a new
feature added. On both our front and blog pages, the music has been
changed to our own themes, composed and performed by our very own Matt
Hallaron.
Those of you with a musical ear will notice that Matt has taken some
of the classic themes of Star Trek music and transformed them into
something new especially for our program. And now we are extremely
proud to present them to our MySpace readers as part of their visiting
experience.
If you haven't checked out our MySpace page yet, please do so to hear
this great music. And if you have a MySpace account, please feel free
to join our Friends space to keep up-to-date on all of our progress.
Enjoy!
Greetings to all,
As some of you may have noticed, its been a little while since our
last update to the site. This is because our editor-extraordinaire
has been doing some reworking on Episode one in order to provide our
listeners with the best quality we can offer, re-mixing some of the
music and creating a stereo experience throughout all of the "present
day" events of the show. Perhaps this is just our version of
"Lucasing" the program, but we hope that these subtle changes will
enhance your listening pleasure.
The remix, along with our other promised Special Features are now
available. It includes a downloadable "CD version" with all three
acts mixed together, humorous Outtakes, the soundtrack of "The Big
Bang" and a copy of the script.
Work is already underway on Episode two as well, with preliminary
recording finished and in the editing stage. We hope to have Act I
online before the end of March. Likewise, we are about ready to begin
recording on Episode three in the next month or so and our writing
staff is continually cranking out excellent stories for upcoming
adventures.
Thanks for sticking with us, and make sure to tell your friends.
Greetings STE Fans,
Well, things are progressing nicely on recording our second episode,
which has been titled "To Err Is Human.... To Really Mess Things Up,
You Need A Directive."
Roughly 90% of the episode has been recorded and the first act will be
sent out for final sound editing before the weekend is out. As such,
we hope to have it available for download shortly. Likewise, Episode
3 is in the hands of our script editor and will be started shortly.
We are also hoping to have the special features for Episode 1 online
by the end of the month, giving you more ways to enjoy our pilot episode.
In other words, things are progressing along quite nicely. :)
We are interested in two things, however, from you our listeners.
1) We would love to get some feedback from you, letting us know what
you think. While the little bit of feedback we have received so far
has been very positive, it has been rather sparse and we would love to
hear from more of you. Feel free to drop us a note at either of our
blogs or through the YahooGroups Newsletter.
2) As we continue on, we will occasionally be looking for guest voice
actors. If you are interested in contributing to this project, we
would love to hear from you! Please feel free to drop us e-mail at
eras@... and we'll get in contact with various
opportunities coming up in the near future.
Stay tuned for future updates as we get closer to the release of Act 1
of our second episode.
Welcome to 2007!
We at TWERPs wanted to ring in the New Year the right way by launching
Act III of our premiere episode, "The Big Bang." This comes in
addition to the renovations made to website with a bold new look,
paying homage to all that has come before us.
In the weeks to follow, we will not only be starting work on episode
2, but we will continue to add "special features" to The Big Bang,
including the script and the soundtrack, composed and produced by our
musical guru and mixer extraordinaire, Matt Hallaron.
Stay tuned, fans. The New Year is just getting started!
Hello,
I wanted to let you all know that the website has been updated in a
major way, with an all-new design. So be sure to check it out!
http://www.twerponline.net/eras/
A few disclaimers:
First of all, it works in IE 6, Opera 9, Sarafi 2, Netscape 8.1 and
FireFox 1. It has some problems with Mozilla 1 and Netscape 7.1, but
is managable - the biggest problem is on the links page. (Or you
could upgrade your browser.) I don't know about IE 5 (probably not)
or IE 7 (I would hope so).
If the site looks really funny or wrong, look to see if your browser
blocked a outside script or some such. (It may say so in a
horizontal bar near the top of your browser.) The site uses a
JavaScript file (.js), a Cascading Stylesheet (.css) and a HTML
Component file (.htc), all downloaded separately. So make sure you
allow these files to come in.
Enjoy, and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

We appreciate the press and will be happily adding a link to your
newsletter to our site.
I would like to offer one small correction to your article, if I may.
The two acts that are currently online, as well as Act III, which
will be released by New Years Eve, are all part of Episode 1: "The Big
Bang."
Again, thanks for joining us. We hope you enjoy.

We are pleased to announce the release of Act II from "The Big Bang"
on November 23; giving us all something else to be thankful for on
Thanksgiving Day.
Please join us in the continued story of two crews, separated by two
hundred years, forced to confront a similar threat in the Romulan
Neutral Zone.
Where Act I focused on the encounter from the viewpoint of the
Challenger (set during the Star Trek: Enterprise era), Act II brings
us back to the "present" (Post Star Trek: Nemesis era) for the
adventures aboard Deep Space 5 and the Prometheus-class USS Aurora.
In addition to this, we hope to have Act III online by New Years Eve.
More information on this is to come.
We hope you enjoy Star Trek: Eras, Episode I: The Big Bang.
Welcome to Star Trek: Eras, the online radio experience.
I figure that, if you are reading this, you may have a few questions
that we can answer right off the bat.
Who are we? We are a community of friends that live in the Northern
Illinois / Chicagoland area. Half of us go to church together, while
the other half has known each other since college. When we came up
with this idea, it was a mad scramble to gather together as many
people as insane as ourselves that enjoyed Star Trek (you will realize
how many people we're talking about as the series moves on into
episodes two and three).
Why are we doing this? As fans of the Star Trek franchise, many of us
have followed the series from its inception. A few months ago, while
reading up on some of the upcoming Star Trek XI information, we
discovered the wonderful world of Fan-Fic and the various other
productions that have preceded us (visit our main website's Links page
to find some of our inspirations). After diving into the medium
headfirst, we came to the conclusion that we had an original idea and
the talent base to produce our own product. Two months later, we are
launching our own site and hope that you all will enjoy our show.
When can we expect Act II? Soon. Our hope is to have an update in
the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for further details. :-D
