I have to chime in in defense of Homespun! I do agree that Sam is at her best on her own, but I have enjoyed the Big Band, Small World series too. Fragile, etc...
Yep...I'm in here too...I mean <Box> has to be my 'most played' Sam CD [& I realise that albums like that are few and far between] - but give me the Sam Brown...
I totally agree with the comments of Dave, Les, and Mark, if you ever witness Sam live with her band you will be blown away, shattered into pieces and exported...
