In our small city in Wisconsin, population 5000, there is a photo at the
public library from the 1920s showing what I'll assume is a contrabass
Sarrusophone with a sax mouthpiece in the high school marching band.
Conn was selling those, right?

We were all born a bit too late, I suppose. I think we have all of 3 bassoons
in the whole county, and we are, rather cruelly, a Sarrusophone-free zone.
