Bill Buckner (Atlanta) here. I have a sarrusophone I bought at an antique shop (barn, really) in North Carolina a couple years ago and I am very interested to restore it to playability. Any leads and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
Although tarnished, it seems to be in pretty good condition - the metal, at least. It has a few dents. But, the keys are all in good condition and work rather well. The pads are a different story - completely shot. The bocal is missing. It is 34 3/4" in length (the ruler in the photo is 18").
If anybody has any recommendations for someone who could restore this instrument (guesstimates on the cost would help, too).
