I am afraid that I cannot comment on the recording as I haven't had time to
listen yet but the performer on sarrusophone is Phillip Rehfeldt.

Phillip Rehfeldt is on the faculty at the University of Redlands, and is a
noted performer on clarinet (and the author of a book on extended
techniques for clarinet). He also wrote an article in the 1991 Double Reed
Journal that I am still trying to get a copy of...
