Hello everyone, this is my first post to this group. I'm still in
search of my tenor sarrusophone or a contrabass, but I can still
admire pitifully can't I? Currently searching antique stores and used
instrument shops. Not at all surprised to see the master himself,
Grant Green on this list=) Hopefully I'll be able to acquire one soon.
But until then, I have a question. Does anyone know if Orsi ever
produced a sarrusophone of any sound group?

I searched for a bass sarrusophone for quite a long time. Within this period I sent Orsi an E-mail. They still build all kind of Sarrusophones on request though I must admit at quite a high price. Finally I found my bass in an auction in Vichy/France about a year ago. Right now the restauration is finished and I succeeded to make my first reeds for this instrument.
